Permissions

Requested permissions are all required for extension to work.

Tabs:

It's required to detect and send message to Chatbots.

Host permissions:

Character ai and Janitor ai for features.

Chatgpt for Greeting Generation but it's not needed if you use Janitorai.

The rest are for Character Search to scrape character cards.

Storage + unlimitedStorage

All your extension settings are stored on your machine. It barely uses anything by default but with Backgrounds, character avatars etc. it surpasses the limit given to the extension. That's where unlimitedStorage permission is needed. You can erase everything easily from the extension's settings tab too.

Revoked permissions:

There is a chance of accidentally revoking all permissions when updating the extension. In which case extension will not work properly. Website will also be unavailable because extension won't be able to run on it.

Come to the addons/extensions page, click on the extension (details button for chrome), switch the permissions back on and it will be fixed.
